JOY In Our Indoor Garden: Shining Stars

JOY in Our Indoor Garden: Each year in the spring or summer we receive a poinsettia from Mum McLellan after it has over-stayed its welcome in her home as a Christmas gift. Most people tell us their poinsettias rarely bloom again in their home beyond their first year so they typically throw them away. In early January 2016 this re-homed beauty from Christmas of 2014 blessed us with these delicate, yet magnificent and abundant blooms. In some lights they remind me of shining stars. At other times I imagine each bloom as a face looking up to God above and declaring with JOY, “I am thankful, I am grateful, I am appreciative that YES, I AM ALIVE! Have you made that declaration of JOY yet today?
