A Journey of the Heart

Life is a journey,
A journey of the heart.
We travelled together,
But for now, we’re apart.

Please don’t cry for me.
I’m where I’m glad to be.
I’ve arrived at the place
Christ has prepared for me.

I’m just steps ahead,
A few heartbeats away.
Your journey continues
But you’ll be with me some day.

Keep travelling along
With others heart to heart,
And before you know it,
We’ll no longer be apart.
