JOY In Our Garden: Bursting Forth

JOY in Our Garden: On this day of April 9, 2016 the snow has melted away from a small patch in our garden, revealing our first blooms of the season! It is about 38 F degrees, the wind is raw and most of the ground is covered in snow.  But still the dandelion flowers, which some believe to be only weeds, have bravely been growing under the snow and have now burst forth in bloom. The harsh conditions and yet their resilient strength and beauty remind me again that no matter what the circumstances we find ourselves in, the JOY of the Lord can be and certainly should be our strength! Today, the lowly dandelion brought to my heart a great burst of JOY!
